Stitch And Glue Wire

Stitching. basically, stitch and glue boats are constructed by gluing panels of plywood together using epoxy resin and fiberglass. the stitching is used to hold the panels in place while the glue is applied and allowed to cure.. The stitch and glue method uses wire sutures to hold panels together until they can be joined permanently with epoxy and fiberglass tape. the outside of the hull is completely coated with fiberglass or dynel cloth sheathing.. I basically stitched it with wire initially, then glued between the wires enough to "glue-stitch" it there. after 12 hours or so i pulled the wires and finished up the joints. never had any movement, never had any problems with wires not pulling out..
